Our Scope of Work
This was multi-phase project that ran from 2017 to 2019. We started with the demo work that helped us understand what was needed and what we already had for cable paths and mounting locations. We tested old equipment to see what was needed to upgrade for when the arena was in use again. Then we began installing a new arena bowl sound system including a new headend using Dante audio as a backbone. We worked with Dayton staff to complete the broadcast cabling. Dayton staff was very happy with the new sound system.
The second phase was to split the arena in half and renovate the back of house systems. We hung new speakers inside and outside of half of the arena, and installed new amplifiers to support the new back of house sound.
In the third phase we finished up the other half of the building similar to the other side. We were then asked to be a part of installing some new club and suite areas as well. The Dayton arena turned out to be a beautiful remodel and now it sounds just as great.
